The Ballito Pro is the world's longest running professional surfing contest. This annual event in June/July features an expanded festival, music concerts on the beach, as well as women and men's surf competitions at Willard Beach in Ballito.

Known as the most popular seaside destination in Kwa-Zulu Natal, Ballito has a beach for every season. Whether you are enjoying a stroll on the promenade at Willard Beach or taking a picture the Thompson's Bay Beach "hole in the wall', there certainly is something for everyone.

A secret haven for kids and adults alike. Enjoy the country village of Umhlali while you eat, play, create and shop.

Park Run at Sugar Rush
Enjoy a free 5km, timed run through the sugar cane forest every Saturday at 08:00. Grab a post Park-Run coffee at the Sugar Rush coffee shop. Pre-registration is required and can be done online. 

The Litchi Orchard Market
The Litchi Orchard is a working farm and outdoor community space dedicated to local crafts and produce. Whilst the December litchi season is fleeting, the grounds and specialty stores are open year-round for visitors to enjoy. Take your pick of healthy, fresh dishes to gourmet food at Kelly's Eatery, or take time out to stop and smell the roses at Muddy Boots Garden Centre. Regular farmer's markets offer even more in the way of homemade gifts and artisanal fare.
